Last Minute Instructions:

This page will be at Geekfest as well, but for emergency re-install of games only.  Everyone is responsible for getting these on your own and ready installed *prior* to coming to Geekfest.

Counterstrike - Install the Half-Life v1110 patch before installing the Counterstrike v1.5 patch.

Starcraft - To install the map pack, it is recommended that you unzip them into your \maps\BroodWar folder, or some other easily accessible folder within the Starcraft subfolder.  Also remember, if you do not have a map and are connecting to someone else's game, the map will transfer quickly.

Warcraft 3 - To install the map pack, it is recommended that you unzip them into your \Maps\FrozenThrone folder, or some other easily accessible folder within the Warcraft III subfolder.  Also remember, if you do not have a map and are connecting to someone else's game, the map will transfer quickly.  *warning* - install no-cd patch for Warcraft 3 at your own risk.  It is recommended that you back up your old war3.exe before using.

UT2004 - To install the Community Packs, unzip the file, and then run the umod file.  It should automatically point to where you have installed UT2004, then simply click next and then click install.  You can delete the files associated with the zip after its done.

*Please note - there may be some files still to download from the server in UT2004.  No worries, they should only take a few seconds, but it is still recommended that you try to connect to a game room as soon as you can, so you are ready ahead of time for tournament play.  If you have problems, please find the server admin, Dave Joy.
